Shipping Policy & FAQ

General Shipping Overview

Processing Times

  • All orders will be processed within 24–72 hours (1–3 business days).

Please note: We do not process orders on weekends or major holidays. Orders placed during these times will begin processing on the following business day.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • After processing, orders will typically arrive within 5–12 business days.
  • Orders containing vapes or cartridges may take slightly longer due to shipping restrictions and the use of specialized regional carrier networks.

Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not ship hemp products to states where hemp is prohibited.
  • THC-A products are unavailable for shipment to: California, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont.
  • International shipping is currently unavailable.

Who Ships Your Order

  • Vape Products (rechargeables & cartridges): Shipped via WanHub and our regional carrier partners.
  • All Other Items: Typically shipped via USPS or FedEx, depending on your location.

Can vape products be shipped?

Yes! We offer fully compliant shipping solutions that satisfy all legal vape shipping requirements through our trusted partners at WanHub.

Regional Shipping Process

  • Initial Transport: Packages will travel on a commercial LTL truck to a regional hub, taking approximately 2–7 business days.
    Tracking updates usually appear after the package reaches the regional hub.
  • Final Mile Delivery: Once the package arrives at the hub, it’s handed off to a local “final mile” carrier for final delivery.

Note: Processing your order can take up to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Many orders ship within 24 hours, but we cannot guarantee it.

Mandatory Adult Signature (21+)

  • Federal law requires Adult Signature Confirmation on all vape orders.
  • Recipients must show a valid, government-issued photo ID at delivery.
  • An $8 signature confirmation fee is required and will be reflected at checkout.
  • We can deliver to business addresses, but PO Boxes are not permitted for vape shipments.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

  • Orders ship via standard ground (no expedited or overnight options).
  • Free Shipping applies to orders over $150 (automatically applied at checkout).

State & Legal Restrictions

  • THC-A products cannot be shipped to the following states: California, Hawaii, Idaho, Minnesota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont.
  • All products contain < 0.3% hemp-derived Delta-9 THC in compliance with the 2018 Farm Bill.

Tracking & Order Updates

  • You’ll receive an email notification with tracking details once your order ships.
  • Use our tracking feature (LINK) to stay updated on your shipment’s progress.

Discreet Packaging

  • Orders are shipped in plain, unmarked packaging for your privacy.
  • The return label may read “MBF Logistics” with our address.

Shipping Issues & Lost Packages

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery, providing a photo of the packing slip and the items received. Once verified, we will correct the issue.

Lost or Undelivered Packages

  • Lost packages are the responsibility of the carrier.
  • Please report any shipping issues within 24–48 hours of the last tracking update.
  • Incorrect or Incomplete Address submissions by the user can cause delays or returns (RTS). Habit CBD is not responsible for additional costs incurred by such errors.

Cancelling or Editing Your Order

  • You have 1 hour after placing an order to cancel or make changes.
  • Due to high volume, once an order is processed, we are unable to modify it.

The PACT Act (“Vape Mail Ban”)

Understanding the PACT Act

  • Stands for “Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking.”
  • Restricts mailing of vaping products via USPS, prompting other major carriers like UPS and FedEx to also halt vape shipments.
  • Requires adult (21+) signature, government ID verification, and tax collection/reporting for online vape retailers.
  • Despite these restrictions, Habit CBD continues to serve vapers nationwide by partnering with alternative shipping carriers.

What This Means for Habit Customers

  • Some regions may temporarily be unavailable for vape product shipping.
  • All vape orders require Adult Signature upon delivery.
  • If shipping to your area is not currently possible, please check back soon; we are always working to expand coverage.

Returns & Exchanges

Return to Sender Policy

  • If an order is returned due to an undeliverable address, we are not obligated to refund or reship at our expense.
  • Returned items will be refunded minus original postage costs.
  • Failure to obtain adult signature or provide valid ID will incur a $14 restocking fee, deducted from your refund.
  • Replacement orders ship only after we receive and process the original return.

Return Policy

  • We accept returns on unused/unopened merchandise within 14 days of delivery.
  • Refunds are for the product amount minus a 15% restocking fee and shipping.
  • Cancelling an order before it ships does not incur a restocking fee.
  • Missing or broken items must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if our policy is not followed.

How to Return an Item

  • Repackage Items: Include all original components (manual, box, accessories, etc.).
  • Protect the Merchandise: Poor packaging can result in refusal of the return.
  • Contact our Support Team: (LINK TO SUPPORT FORM) Include Order Number and let us know whether you need a return or replacement.
  • Refund Processing: Refunds are applied back to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 business days after we process the return.
